Biographical Info

Dr. Olivia Cheng is a breast surgical oncologist based at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Born and raised in New York, Dr. Cheng graduated from Stuyvesant High School before pursuing higher education at Stony Brook University, where she also earned her medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. Following her general surgery residency at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, Dr. Cheng sought specialized training in Breast Surgical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. This fellowship equipped her with advanced expertise in treating benign breast disease, high-risk breast conditions, and breast cancer, emphasizing a patient-centered approach to care. Dr. Cheng is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to her patients, combining cutting-edge surgical techniques with a deep commitment to improving outcomes and quality of life. She is excited to return to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where she continues her mission to advance breast health and empower patients through education and innovative treatment options.
